The 2006 North American Greyhound Adoption Conference sponsored by Greyhound Pets of America will be hosted here in San Diego! The event will be on September 8 - September 10, 2006. Everyone is welcome to attend - you need not be an officer of your chapter to attend and benefit from this conference. Calling all hounds, calling all hounds!  Do you need a bath?  Are your nails getting long? Need your ears cleaned?  Come to our next Dog Wash at the McRories on July 30 , 2006! Your people can socialize with other greyhound owners while you get a spa treatment! Breakfast and lunch munchies will be available for the people for purchase.

Show and Tells: Come see what all the fuss is about! We have so much fun talking about our favorite subject - greyhounds! If you have never attended a show and tell before, the only things you need to bring are your hound, and a bed for him or her to lay on.  We provide the rest! Most show and tells last about 3 hours, and are over before you know it. We get the majority of our applications for adoption from people who saw us at one of these events, so you can rest assured you will be doing your part in helping find homes for the beautiful hounds.  If you are interested in attending an event near you, please call Cathy Kiburtz at (626) 844-9209, or email her at greyhounds@kiburtz.net.
